  My favorite sushi place, hands down.  Regular kappa rolls are pretty standard anywhere you go, but the specialty rolls here are amazing. Highly recommend the Hot Night Roll... And if you're not afraid of a bit of heat, get it extra spicy.
  
  What makes this place even better, is the friendliness of the team who works there. Especially Grace, she is amazing.

  As someone who's always on the hunt for good, fresh, affordable sushi I'm also a little wary when I find a new place and have to hope it's as good as the Yelp reviews say it is.  Especially in the Vancouver area, where folks take their sushi VERY seriously, and where anything above a 3-star review would be a 5-star spot in my neck of the woods.  So it was with great hope, but just a little trepidation, that I entered the 4-star wonderness of Simon Sushi on a recent jaunt up to Langley.  And I was not disappointed!
  
  My companion and I were pretty hungry for lunch, so we were glad there was an open table and that we were able to order quickly.  I ordered one of their bento boxes ($9.95), which featured a small portion of chicken teriyaki in a sweet-and-savory homemade sauce, a California roll, some gyoza, rice, and a salad.  I also ordered a side of their fresh, yummy hamachi roll.  The total of my lunch came out to less than $15 (Canadian!) - which, when I reviewed my bank statement upon returning to the States, came out to just under $12 for a delicious sushi lunch.
  
  My friend ordered avocado and cucumber rolls, which she reported were excellent.  We left with our bellies full and another great sushi place to add to the roster.

  I was hoping to find a hidden gem, but this wasn't quite it. The servers are friendly, especially toward the regulars that seem to frequent this joint. I ordered Lunch Box A, which I admit is not an adequate measure of how good a Japanese restaurant is. Given that it was a late lunch, I thought the food would arrive faster. Perhaps the holdup was the tempura since that was freshly fried. The rice was in a cute heart shape, but a bit too hard. The beef teriyaki and California rolls were average, about what you would expect in a lunch special. The egg roll was soggy after being smothered in sweet chili sauce. The salad had way too much ginger dressing. We also ordered a Las Vegas roll, which tasted like deep fried rice -- none of the fillings were discernible.
  
  If I worked in the area, I'd probably come here for lunch. But since I don't, I probably wouldn't come back here since the food is mediocre.

  Delicious quick lunch!  Sushi was fresh and the taking yaki was so tasty! Definitely coming back

  My go-to place for good sushi in Langley. Very delicious sushi, you can tell it's always fresh. Very friendly staff that recognizes customers and truly cares about your experience. Only downside is that it's a little bit on the outskirts of town.
